Microsoft Office “Hot Key” Combinations

Many features in Microsoft Office (and other software too)
are available through menus, but are also accessible using keyboard “shortcuts.”

When Using the <Alt> or <Control> + <other key > combinations,
it is NOT necessarily to press them exactly simultaneously.

First press the <Alt> or <Control>  key, and hold it down.

Then, with the <Alt> or <Control> key pressed,
press the other key, and release them both.

This is similar to using the <Shift> key.

It may seem as though you need to “stab” both keys at the exact same time,

But this usually causes problems if you timing is off by even a micro-second !

So, press the <Alt> or <Control> and then press the other key.

Hope this helps !

(It seems obvious, AFTER you know it, right ?)
