Minimizing and Maximizing the Micorosoft 2007 / 2010 “Ribbon” menues

One method to remove the ribbon’s tool buttons from the display, to provide more screen space
to work on your document, spreadsheet, database, or other Office application :

 
Right-click the “Quick Access Menu” to display this context meu :

Then, click “”to display only the tabs on the ribbon, without the tool button :

 

Moving the mouse cursor over each tab and clicking
will maximize the ribbon for ONE operation, the it closes again.

 

 

Another method to minimize or maximize the ribbon is to double-click on any tab in it.

Right-Clicking the Quick Access Menu displays this ‘context-menu’ :

Un-check the “”option to restore the menu ribbon to full-size :

move the Quick Access Menu above or below the ribbon
